See Spot. See Spot sit at home all day, jumping from the bed to the sofa and back again, then looking out the window waiting impatiently for his best human friend to return home. All Spot wants to do is run out into the back garden, relieve himself, walk off some of his excess energy, and maybe hear those lovely words, “Good dog, Spot. Good dog.”
Instead, he becomes impatient and angry, digging on the furniture, tearing up the carpet, and chewing on the walls.
Your dog might be just like Spot, especially if you work all day. All your dog – and the Spots of the world – need is a dog walker if you work all day.
Peace of mind
The last thing you need while you are at work is to worry that your dog is getting the mental and physical stimulation he needs to keep him happy. When you hire a dog walker, you don’t have to worry. You know your dog is getting a much-needed and appreciated break during his day, to stretch his muscles and to go to the toilet. That increases the chance that your dog will be tired and content when you return home at the end of the day.
Mental and physical stimulation
Even if your dog has an abundance of toys while you are at work all day, he’s going to get bored eventually. Every one – animal and human – needs time to stimulate their minds and their bodies. A dog walker will provide your dog with plenty of affection and socialization and will ensure your dog exerts his overabundance of energy.
Fun!
What’s the best part of having a dog as a best friend? The way he wags his tail wildly, jumps up and down, and cries with joy when you come home after a long day at work? Your dog will have fun when your professional dog walker comes through the door every day – and he will be much calmer and relaxed when you walk through the door at night.
Relaxation
Sometimes sitting and sipping a cool drink after work is the best way to relax. And, when your dog is rested, from his daily walk, you can enjoy that time of relaxation before you and your dog take a leisurely stroll. After all, since he walked during the day, he won’t have as much energy to expend and won’t be as hyper.
